I am holding Molly and Dr. Michael Young close to my heart. Their love for each other is an inspiration to all. “In sickness and in health” a most sacred vow, these two lovely friends did just that! With Love they walked in each other’s footsteps taking turns lifting each other up. When I met Michael during my bodybuilding years and during his heavy weight lifting days, we joked about him being my blue eyed Adonis. May he Rest in Peace! With love Xena Princess Warrior, DocJackie
December holds my fondest memories. Getting together for Christmas with family, hearing laughter and the smell of wonderful food. As a child you would think my favorite part was the gifts. But it wasn’t, it was the events following gifts. I recall sitting, enthralled with watching David and Michael have a wrapping paper ball fight in the living room. Chaos ensued every time after gifts….it was THE best.
Michael, you will be missed. We love you and hope you are enjoying my Dad’s company. One day we will all be together again….
I met Dr. Young 20+ years ago. I am a retired RN that worked in the OR and had many episodes of back pain. Sometimes walking was difficult. I remember a time that I wasn’t able to go into the office so Dr. Young came to my house. No doctor had ever done that for me. To me, this demonstrated his commitment to his profession.
When the pandemic hit, I was seeing Dr.Young regularly. Since we both were Christians, we would discuss the end of the world as we knew it. We also would discuss the Rapture and the Tribulation.
I have no doubt that Dr.Young was a believer and that he is resting in peace in heaven. I expect to see him there!
Irma and I went to see Dr. Young when he 1st took over the chiropractic practice of Dr. Trethaway in the 90s. We started as patients, but over the last 20+ years we've grown to be friends/family. Michael and I would commiserate about hating the heat in Houston, discuss current events, and lament over "these kids today." We'll miss his adjustments, his personality, and his sense of humor every day. Rest in peace our dear friend.
I met Michael back in 1995 as we were neighbors in the Woodlands, a great memory was our Friday night midnight bowling,, and upon leaving on our way home listening to Elvis, suspicious minds,,, a toast to my friend Michael !
I met Mike at New Hope a few years back. I quickly recognized that he had a strong faith in Jesus that he was eager to share. Mike would give me names of biblical scholars who helped me to gain more understanding to God's word. That was such a blessing each week. Our friendship led to a text that he would send anytime I missed the 9:45 service to be sure everything was good. His caring attitude was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed our friendship and will miss him dearly.
I first met Mike in 1984 at pre med classes at San Jacinto college and we immediately became friends. We continued in our education at Chiropractic College being in the same class. Each day was made enjoyable by Mike’s humor and outlook on life. After graduation, we continued our friendship as we made our way into our new profession. I had the opportunity to practice with him at the same office and Mike always made our days better. We talked a lot about God, football, and life. I noticed he always put God first in his life. Oftentimes I would enter our office and find Mike in prayer or reading scripture. We would have great discussions about God, scripture, and faith. It was such a blessing to have spent so much time with Mike, and to have him as a friend for life.
Thank you Mike for all you did for me! All the support and encouragement you gave me just by being my friend! I will miss you my friend!
