Missouri White's Obituary
Missouri White, 82, passed away on October 7, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Molly Grant; her husband of 52 years, Bunyan Boyd White; son, Richard B. White; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Ashley White. Missouri is survived by her son Terry White; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.
Missouri and Bunyan lived all over the country while he was in the Air Force. “Mo”, as she was fondly known to by her close friends and family, worked in retail sales for most of her life. She enjoyed getting together and cooking for everyone in her earlier years. She was affectionately known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren. Mo enjoyed good health for most of her life and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A church service for Mo will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 4300 Blanton Drive, Fayetteville, N.C. with Pastor Todd Westfall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
