Nancy Pamela Robinson's Obituary
Nancy Pamela "Pam" Davis Robinson lived a life defined by a simple, powerful truth: love is something you do, every single day. Born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, on March 1, 1943, to Henry Collins and Iva Ruth Davis, Pam’s journey eventually led her home to the Lord on April 7, 2026, at the age of 83.
As a "Navy Brat," Pam’s childhood was a whirlwind of maps and horizons. From the coast of Galveston to the Pentagon, in Washington D.C. to the historic streets of Turkey, she followed her father’s naval career across the globe. It was in Turkey that life changed forever when she met Gary. Their connection spanned oceans, leading them to marry in San Diego before finally planting deep roots in Meadows Place, Texas.
For over 50 years, Pam’s heart belonged to the First Presbyterian Church in Sugar Land. Whether she was lifted in song with the choir, serving as a Deacon, or teaching Sunday School, her devotion to her church family was unwavering. She didn't just attend church; she lived her faith through service and steadfast commitment.
However, Pam’s greatest masterpiece of love was her family. After retiring from Fort Bend ISD and Dillards, she stepped into her favorite role: being a full-time "Grammy" to Austin and Emily. To Pam, love wasn’t just a feeling; it was being in the front row of every soccer game, scout meeting, dance recital, and orchestra concert. It was the reliability of a Grammy who was always there at the bus stop or school pickup line—whether the kids thought they were too old for it or not. She was their fiercest protector and their loudest cheerleader, ensuring they never spent a single day doubting how much they were cherished.
Pam is now reunited with her parents, H.C. and Ruth Davis, and her beloved husband, Gary Robinson.
Her legacy of warmth and devotion lives on through her son, James W. Robinson and his wife, Carrie; her adored grandchildren, Austin Collins and Emily Grace Robinson; and a wide circle of friends and family who were fortunate enough to be folded into her care.
Pam Robinson taught us that while we may travel the world, the most important place to be is exactly where your family needs you.
