Nathan Tilden Rogers' Obituary
Nathan Tilden Rogers passed away Monday, March 15, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Janice Rogers; and brother, James Timothy Rogers Jr.. Left to cherish Nathan’s memory are his loving wife, Leanne O’Donnell; sons, Chris Rogers and his wife, Jasmine, Brian Rogers; daughters, Natalie Rogers and husband, Kyle, Katelin Rogers, and best friend, Caitlyn Calhoun; sisters, Dorcas Rogers, Kelly Syler; grandchildren, Nina, Roman, one on the way, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Nathan took great pride in his craftsmanship as an artisan woodworker. He absolutely loved to work on and restore old wooden boats. He was a perfectionist who always made sure every detail was done the right way when working on any and every project. His favorite saying was “puddy and paints can cure anything.” Nathan knew no strangers and was everyone’s best friend. He was always there when someone needed help and he would often give the shirt off his own back to help anyone. He especially cherished any time spent with his grandchildren. They affectionally called him “Captain Pops”. Nathan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Nathan will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. A visitation service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 10:00 am - 12:00pm.
