Dr. Bhutani will probably fuss about her hair-but this picture was when we were first blessed to know her as my daughter's doctor. New to the area, admitted rhrough the ER, she became our "go to" until graduation in 2000. Jackie was hospitalized 8 days with pneumonia. Dr. Bhutani was one of those very
rare physicians who had the courage and took the time to insure her patient's well fare--the whole healing. Physical, emotional, and spiritual - daring to stand strong in her beliefs concerning the best interests of her pediatric patient. She followed her beliefs--despite the possibility of time entanglement in a judicial system where legal decisions impact young lives and busy doctors make decisions to stand firm or turn away. There was absolutely no wavering nor doubt in her convictions to do what she recognized was necessary for the present and future well-being of her patient. She was fearless. No thought of the possibility of thr time that could be required--no question--she had made a decision. And others that knew her, understood, accepted, and admired this true Doctor. Taken about 1993. I still lower my head and my eyes fill wirh gratitude and admiration, and tear. One felt her love for her family and true care for staff. Thank you. I trusted Dr. Bhutani and gained much affection and appreciation for her humor. With affection and humble respect...Bari Gessner
