Norberto Galleros Zatarain's Obituary
Norberto Galleros Zatarain, 68, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born February 20, 1954, in Culiacan, Mexico, was raised in East LA, and spent his later years in Houston, Texas. Noberto loved his sons and family dearly and he cherished his grandchildren. He was such a hard worker and loved working. Norberto was known to have a temper at times, but always with a good heart. He never hesitated to help anyone in need and always lent a helping hand. If you needed a job, he would help you find one.
A car lover, Noberto had a passion for lowriders and hotrods. He loved working on his cars; his favorite was his Mustang. Noberto was also known to love his Heineken beer. He was an avid sports fan, who loved all the LA teams; he was especially a Raiders fan all the way! Noberto was a music lover, he enjoyed listening to his favorite groups Los Bukis, Los Tigres, Los Caminantes, Banda El Recodo, and even Tupac. In his spare time, Norberto enjoyed watching movies, westerns were always his favorite. Norberto loved visiting his family. He loved traveling, but not on a plane, he drove everywhere he went. Norberto will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Noberto is preceded in death by his father J. Ramon Zatarain; and mother Maria Beltran Zatarain. He is survived by his sons Alexander Zatarain, Norbert Zatarain; grandchildren Angel, Alexander, Toni Alexis Delgado Zatarain, Xavier Zatarain; great grandchildren Santos Josiah Delgado, Alaina Delgado, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Services for Norberto will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm, with Deacon Richard Reyes officiating.
