Ogie Whitehead's Obituary
Ogie Whitehead, 91, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Effie Whitehead; brother, Raymond Whitehead; and sisters, Irene Little, Dorene Jones, Norma Glen Cormack. Ogie is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Littie Whitehead; sister, Evelyn Russell and a host of other family and friends.
Ogie had a strong work ethic and was a good provider for his family. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ogie had an amazing sense of humor and relished in pulling pranks on his nieces and nephews. He cherished spending time with his family for holidays and special occasions. Ogie will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation for Ogie will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. A graveside service will take place Friday, November 13, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Antioch Cemetery, FM 230, Lovelady, Texas.
