Patsy (Mimi) was my grandmother and I know of no other person as sweet and kind hearted as her. She will forever be my saving grace who now watches over me. I miss her more than I ever thought imaginable. She truly was one of a kind and I dread the many years that I’ll be without her wise and comforting words. I love you Mimi
Mrs. Schrock was my 6th grade teacher at Bowie Elementary. I was a little scared when I learned she was to be my teacher because her reputation among the Bowie kids was that she was strict. However, I quickly realized what a good teacher she was and loved her by the end of the year. I have thought of her over these many years since that time. I became a teacher as well, although my area was high school. If only teachers today were cut from the same cloth as she, we would be turning out better educated kids and certainly more respectful. She was kind and caring!
Patsy was a beautiful person and a wonderful teacher. My mother, Lorene Hunt was also a teacher and was a friend for many years. I enjoyed receiving her hand-written notes with her artwork. She was truly a gifted writer and artist. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Mrs. Schrock was a wonderful, kind inspiring educator to my child at Bowie. She cared so very much.
