Sending our love and condolences.
With Deepest Sympathy and love.
With deepest sympathy,
I am a daughter of George and Helen Cates. They were members of the Pearland Historical Society and loved to come visit with their friends every year. I was blessed to come with them several times. I remember Peggy and was a very sweet lady. As you all know First United Methodist Church has a special meaning to me since we would visit sometimes because my sweet Uncle Joe and Aunt Jewel were members there. My condolences to her family and friends in their loss but her gain as she is having a reunion in heaven with Chuck and her friends!
Mrs. Long was always so fun to be around. I always loved hanging out next door as a kid and when I make Pecan Pie now, I only wish it would taste as good as hers always did.
Peggy was the model of kindness and generosity. She would be the first one to help out a friend and stranger alike. She was the example of kindness and compassion that has been missing from the world lately. The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonight. We will miss you Peggy. Our only true comfort is that you and Chuck are reunited. We will miss you. Until we meet again.
Love,
Carole and Christopher Wood
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family.
