Phillip Essenpreis' Obituary
Phillip Anthony Essenpreis, age 40, of La Porte, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1985, in Houston, Texas, to Gary Lynn Essenpreis and Belinda Herrera Essenpreis Purdy.
Phillip was an educator for many years and truly had a passion for teaching. He is preceded in death by his father Gary Lynn Essenpreis, grandmother Dorotea (Dorothy) Nina Cerda, grandfather Octaviano Herrera, grandmother Hellen I. Essenpreis, grandfather Philip A. Essenpreis and Uncle Major Terrence Essenpreis.
Phillip is survived by his mother Belinda Herrera Essenpreis Purdy, Uncle Octaviano (Toby) Herrera, Aunt Cynthia Fernandez, as well as many dear relatives and friends.
Phillip was a loving son and cousin who will be truly missed by all.
