On December 29th, 2013, Phyllis Dodson of La Porte, Texas left this world for a better place. She was born September 27th, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is survived by her older brother Jimmie Dodson and his wife Sharon, sister Linda Hallman, her nephews Jeff Hallman and James Dodson. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Ruth Dodson, younger brother Clarence Dodson, and nephew Chris Hallman. She served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam was working in the Pentagon in Washing, D.C. She moved to Pasadena, Texas in 1977 and began working at a law firm in downtown Houston until she recently retired in August 2013. Phyllis, you were a blessing to all who knew you. You will be exceedingly missed by all of your family and friends who loved you.
