Ralph Emerson Beyer Jr.'s Obituary
Ralph Beyer Jr., 73, passed away Saturday April 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Sue Westbrook Beyer; and sister Susan Beyer. Left to cherish his memory are his son Shawn Salter; daughter Sonya Morman and husband Jim; brothers Steve Beyer and wife Bernita, and Mike Beyer; grandchildren James and Lance; great grandchildren Landon, Jaci, Jaidyn, Marleigh and Justin; nephews Timothy and Joseph, and a host of other friends and family.
After graduating from High School Ralph proudly served his country in the United Stated Marine Corps. While serving in the Marines he obtained the rank of Sargent and was also a Rifle Range Instructor and Air Traffic Controller. Following his service in the Marines, he became a pipe fitter and was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union until his retirement. Ralph was quite a handyman. He was exceptionally talented with plumbing, carpentry, landscaping and welding. He was known as a man who was always there to help others in time of need, and he was a friend to many people. Ralph also had a soft heart for animals and was always willing to take in any stray dog. Ralph will be truly, missed by all who loved and knew him.
