Born in Willingboro, New Jersey, on May 2, 1972, Randi was the youngest of three sisters and the heart of a family that she loved immensely and lived for wholeheartedly.Randi has now joined her beloved father, cherished aunt, and her loyal dog Saydee in heaven. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and unconditional love.A devoted daughter, sister, and mother, Randi was also a loving aunt, partner, sister-in-law, great-aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her children, Chase and Jenna, were her everything—her pride, her purpose, and her world. She recently celebrated Jenna’s graduation from the University of Texas with glowing pride, proudly calling herself a “UT mom.” She beamed with love for Chase, always inspired by his strength, leadership, and ability to rally the family when they needed it most. She shared an especially close bond with her two sisters, offering love, laughter, and unwavering support throughout their lives.Randi was the proudest aunt, known to her nieces as the one they could turn to for sound advice, heartfelt support, and humor that could light up the darkest moments. Even during extended hospital stays, Randi never lost her spark—lifting spirits with laughter and finding joy wherever she could.Professionally, Randi was a true force of nature. With a career spanning decades, she was a natural-born salesperson, possessing the rare gift of being able to sell anything to anyone—and making it feel genuine every time. She was a magnetic storyteller, a steadfast confidant, a loyal friend, and an expert “supersleuth” when needed.Randi’s passions were many. She loved music, relaxing by the water, and going on boat rides with Ty. She adored the TV shows Friends and Naked and Afraid, and her quick wit kept everyone around her laughing and on their toes. In recent months, Randi cherished quiet moments playing Upwords with her mother, and her family takes comfort in the deep connection they shared during that time.Above all, Randi will be remembered for her enormous heart. Her love for her family and friends was boundless, her loyalty unshakable. To know Randi was to have a friend for life.She is survived by her beloved children Chase and Jenna Thiergart; her mother, Barbara Chase; stepmother, Barbara Jonas Chase; stepfather, Lewis Babcock; her two sisters, Sari Chase Prat and husband Roger, and Amy Chase Ontiberoz and husband Jeff; her partner Ty Allen Sontag; nieces, Brea Carter and husband Seth, Jordan Meyer, and Lily Prat; great niece, Kyle Carter; and many close friends who will carry her memory forward.Celebration of LifeA Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at:League City Civic Center400 W.
