Raul G Rodriguez's Obituary
Raul G Rodriguez passed away in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, March 22nd, at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Rodriguez and Candida Garcia, his wife, Delia Rodriguez, and eight siblings. Raul leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Oscar Rodriguez and wife Angela, Michael Rodriguez and wife Diana; grandchildren, Michael Rodriguez Jr and wife Jailin and Kevin Anthony Rodriguez and wife Victoria; great grandchildren, Michael Rodriguez III and Kalina Rodriguez; and a host of many other family and friends.
Raul will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his deep devotion to family and community. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army, dedicating himself as a Military Police officer and upholding the values of duty and honor. Raul enjoyed fishing and hunting and had a natural talent for building and fixing things. He generously gave his time as a little league baseball coach and as a Boy Scouts Scout Master, positively influencing the lives of many young people. Raul cherished spending time with his family and took great pride in his work as a supervisor for Boring & Tunneling Co. of America. A man of faith and service, Raul was also a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others.
Raul’s family will receive guests during a visitation on Monday, March 30th, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, commencing at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
