Ray Sloan's Obituary
Ray Sloan, Jr., a resident of Houston, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the age of 73 years. Ray was born August 22, 1931 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Ray and Dorothy Enoch Sloan. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of the V.F.W.
Ray’s is survived by a loving family; his wife, Janice Lee Mitchell Sloan; two sons, Ray Sloan, of Conroe and Michael Sloan, of Houston; three daughters, Sharon Burnaman, of Houston, Margie House, of Dunn, North Carolina and Polly Barrett, of Cameron, West Virginia; two sisters, Darlene Walters, of Chicago, Illinois and Betty Lou Lowe, of Wheeling, West Virginia; niece, Becky Sloan, of Houston; six grandchildren and eight grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
In lieu of usual remembrances memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
