View Tribute Book Rebecca Denise Hale Gorden, 63, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Sallie Hale. Left to cherish Rebecca’s memory are her loving husband, James Gorden; children, Susan Hogan and Bradley Gorden; grandchildren, Aria Hogan, Preston Hogan, Emmitt Gorden, and Miles Gorden; along with a host of dear family and friends.Rebecca was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Thurman and Sallie Hale on September 4, 1960. She went on to graduate from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in education. Rebecca would spend a successful career working at Camco Manufacturing for 10 years, and Continental Airlines for another 10 years until her retirement. She supported James in the Arabia Shine as his leading lady and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Rebecca will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Funeral services for Rebecca will be held at Clayton Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas, on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, with the Service commencing at 2:00 pm.
