She is preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Geraldine Mims; son Jeremiah Kliesing; and sister Christine Johnson. She is survived by her sister Tamsey Mims, and grandson Xavier Kliesing.Rebecca was a selfless woman who had a very successful career as a nurse. She started her nursing degree at Alvin Community College and then finished it at Texas Women’s. Rebecca worked in the ICU and loved helping and working with her patients. She worked as a nurse in Saudi Arabi for two years. When she returned to Texas, she continued her career at the chemical plants working as an occupational nurse. In her spare time, Rebecca loved dancing, gardening, and going fishing on her big boat with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.In lieu of flowers, Rebecca's family asks that you consider making a memorial donation in her memory to New Life Lutheran Church.A visitation for Rebecca is scheduled on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, October 24, at New Life Lutheran Church, 3521 E. Orange St, Pearland, Texas, with Pastor Clayton Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, in Pearland, Texas.
