Richard T. Carpenter “Tommy”, born April 20, 1946 in Beaumont, TX passed away December 28, 2007 in Deer Park. Tommy was employed by the City of La Porte for 10 years as a building inspector. He was a professional photographer all of his adult life. Survived by wife Kaye Carpenter, children Melissa Dority and Kevin, Samantha Carpenter, Richard Cook, Billy Hart and Dawn, grandchildren Justin Hart, Christina Shipley, Dylan Istre, Brianna Collins, Father Richard Carpenter, siblings James Carpenter, Susie Carpenter, David Carpenter, Martha Pavia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 5-7 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday January 3, 2008 at 2 PM at Seabreeze Park, 1300 Bayshore Drive La Porte, TX 77571.
In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made in his name to the Helen Hall Library, 100 W. Walker St. League City, TX 77573.
