Richard "Dick" Earl Brown, 88, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Eleanor Brown and his stepmother, Mildred Brown. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Edna Br Read Obituary
Sorry to hear about your dad. I did not get to know him very long. Just remember you will get to see him some day again in a better life. My prayers go out to you and your Mom and sisters. Please tell them all hello from me. I think of you often.

I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. It was impossible for me to be there with you all, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have very fond memories of Dick, his gentle humour, and kindness.
Almighty God, who has taught us that they who mourn, shall be comforted, grant that in all your grief you may turn to Him. And because your need is beyond the help of men, grant you the peace of His consolation and the joy of His love through Jesus Christ our Lord - Amen.

We are so sorry for your loss. Since Hill just came out of the hospital, we will not be able to attend the service, but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Dick will certainly be missed.

I (Geoff) have fond memories of long discussions about American cars with Uncle Dick. Also I had the pleasure of showing Uncle Dick around a Telephone repeater station in Exeter, England.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. When I went through the loss of my father a scripture that brought me comfort is Isaiah 41:10. There God invites us to turn to him for strength and comfort. He promises to "fortify you" and says "I will really hold on to you with my right hand". May the God of all comfort be with you at this time. (2 Cor.1:2-4)
My admiration and fondness is felt along with my belief Dick goes with God.

I met Mr Brown thru my daughter in law at several of the grandchildrens birthday celebrations. He was a very nice man, and I know he will be missed terribly! Prayers for all that time will help ease the pain of the loss of such a wonderful family member.
