Richard "Mack" Machowicz's Obituary
Richard “Mack” Machowicz, 51, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, after a courageous battle against Stage IV Brain Cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Mandy Leggio Machowicz; his beautiful daughters, Josephine and Valentina Machowicz; his parents, and a host of many other family and friends. Mack is preceded in death by his beloved In-laws.
Mack proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy SEAL for 10 years. He was an accomplished author, TV host and producer, radio host and motivational speaker. Mack founded his own martial art, The Bukido Training System, and started his own motivational business Not Dead Can’t Quit – NDCQ! Mack was an ordained Buddhist priest. His proudest accomplishment was being a devoted husband and loving father. Mack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His inspirational work will continue to touch the lives of many.

A visitation and rosary for Mack will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, TX 77581. The visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father James Courville officiating.
