He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lois Krauss; brother, Robert Nieber; and sister, Nancy Kosowski. Left to cherish Richard’s memory his wife, Liz Nieber; sons, Rick Nieber and wife Linda, and James Nieber; daughter, Christina Elliott and husband Travis; brother, Doug Nieber; sister, Janet Moyes; grandchildren, Enzo, Mason, Matthew, Michael, and Steven; great grandchildren, Izzy and Ronin; and a host of other family and friends.Richard was a fiercely loyal and proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed meeting new people, and sharing a joke with anyone who would listen. Richard was a Patriot who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to listen to music, and work on any project you had for him. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.Funeral services for Richard will be held at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581) on Friday, September 22nd, 2023. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am.
