Hello, my name is Bill Venable and I have known the Sable family for just over 50 years. I first met Rickey when he and his dad came into a place I worked part time. I think he was about 13 at that time and that was about the time I quit working there. I ran into him on the job later on after he became a 211 pipefitter. The last time I ran into him on the job was at River Oaks Baptist Church School. He was there for 4 or 5 months working on the new ac system, running steel pipe and copper pipe to feed the ac units in ever room. He was a professional pipe fitter and a hard worker. Rickey was a nice person to be around, with, and a good friend. I have seen him driving down my street many times on his motor cycle and a lot of the time his wife was on the back. I have 3 sons who are Plumbers and they know Rickey very well too, they all were on the Hobby Airport construction job back about 12 years ago and were very good friends with Rickey, That project lasted 2 years.
We have been thinking about Rickey and surely will miss him. He was a great person.
