Dear Kim and family, I’m sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I will pray for you and your family.
I knew Dick both as one of my professors when I was a student and as a fellow faculty member at Iowa State in later years. I also spent a lot of time sailing with him at Big Creek. He was a great guy and will be greatly missed. I often think of my good friends Bob Post and Charlie Wright who are now gone, and I know that Dick will be in my mind as well. My sympathy to Carolyn and Dick’s family.
Kim, So sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure I speak for my entire family when I say our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss, but hope that you find comfort in each other and your faith.
Carolyn, you and Dick were like my second set of parents as I was growing up. I always knew that you were looking out for me and were genuinely interested in my well-being. Thank you for being part of my life.

We think of you often, you were good neighbors. Mike and I will always remember making “lefsa” with you and Dick.
May he rest in Peace…
May the allmighty welcome him in heaven…
May we never forget that the only thing that death could take away from us by taking him, is his boddy, but death could not take away his actions, teachings and memory from us…Those will stay with us forever..Amen
Steve,
My sympathies to you and your family.
Take good care.
Sally
