I'll keep loving memories of my godfather, Uncle Bobby, with me always. He always made me laugh, sometimes by sending a cat cartoon with a note. Condolences to all our family and friends. May God bless and keep you.
My Uncle Bobby was one of the joyous, funny, intelligent and downright "cool" people I've had the privilege to know. From his wonderful and sophisticated sense of humor to his scholarly knowledge and love of Biblical languages to his openness to the mysteries of the Christian faith...Bobby always provided me with laughter, a desire to learn, and a challenge to pursue my Christian faith with love and openness. During my trips to New Orleans as a kid I always enjoyed hanging out with Bobby. We'd often go out for a walk around the culturally rich 9th Ward where the Cardaro family home was...or take a jaunt out to the airport or other local spots. When I was with Bobby I always knew he'd come up with something to laugh about or some clever quip that would be the joke of the day. I love you Bobby! I know that you are up there in Heaven celebrating your new life with our Risen Lord as well as with Mom (Lucille), Pete, Mama, Papa, and all who have gone before. Thank you for all you have given me!
