Q: What will you never forget about Robert?
A: I had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him. I have nothing but respect for him. A man of honor and dignity.
Just found out about Bob's passing today Sunday July 14. Bob gave me my first break in investigation, I when on to have a very successful in the field of investigation and I have Bob Gale to thank for my success. My prayers go out to family. Bob was a great man and a legendary gum shoe investigator RIP my friend
I have known "Rob" my whole life! He and my mom were friends before I was born. He was an awesome man and I always like either giving or receiving calls from him! He was so funny. The last time I saw him was back in 2009 but he was so excited to See Me!!! I sure loved him! May he rest easy now. Thank Rob for always being there
After retiring from the Navy in 1970 I served as a special policeman under Chief Bob Gale in the Town of Weathersfield, Vt. It is with the highest respect that I remember Chief Gale and the time serving under him.

Bob was a great friend to many families in Weathersfield. My parents enjoyed spending time with him and always appreciated his visits, post cards and newspaper clippings from TX. What a great guy.... may he rest in peace. Thinking of his family during this difficult time.
Heaven gained a very great man. You would give the shirt off your back for anyone in need. Till we meet again you will be missed. With much love
