He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Dale Hurst; and grandparents, Lawrence and Anna Mae Hurst and Robert and Irene Brannon. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Marie Hurst; former wife, Meghan Alexander; daughter, Ireland Hurst; brother, Larry Hurst; nieces, Angelia and Lily Hurst; numerous aunts and uncles; and a host of many other family and dear friends.Robert was a devoted father who loved his daughter, Ireland, very much. He affectionately referred to her as his “Baby Cakes”. Robert had a great sense of humor and was always making everyone laugh. He especially enjoyed outdoor cooking and making new recipes. Robert took interest in working out and enjoyed watching MMA competitions. His greatest pleasure was his motorcycle. Robert had an enduring heart and enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, especially his church family at Freedom House. He was strong in faith and loved his Lord and Savior. Robert will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me account has been set up for Robert at www.gf.me/u/c4wqjwServices for Robert will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 am with Pastor Ernie Hutchings officiating.
