Robert Michael McElyea, a resident of La Porte, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 at his home, at the age of 56 years. Robert was born September 20, 1950 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Dorothy Mae (Hendricks) McElyea and the late James Weaver McElyea. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Armed Forces and was an instrument technician by trade.
