Connie, Gerry and I were saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. As you may recall he played a significant role in my transitioning back to sports medicine, a move which made my subsequent professional life more satisfying and enjoyable and in which I continue to have some involvement. So I owe Bob a great deal of thanks for that and having had the opportunity to know and work with him. Connie & Family,

Donald and I would like to share our deepest condolences on your lost. Donald and I had the pleasure of meeting Bob at the Pearland YMCA and he was influential in teaching us both how to play Pickleball. My husband would never want to play until Bob was there!!! He was a great player and Pickleball friend. We enjoyed his company and friendship and he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Bob’s family. I have great memories of Bob and used to live near his grandmother north of Bloomington, as I recall. Bob was a wonderful example even as a young man when we were in high school together. I am thankful for his relationship with the Master. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

Bob was one of the finest men ever employed by the IU Athletic Department. He always had time to help his fellow man. He was a great trainer for the IU Basketball team and a real asset to all IU Athletics. He was a GOD loving GOD fearing man.

He loved his LORD and his family. He is in a better place today

Connie and family,
Judy and I were so sorry to hear of Bob’s death. We extend our deepest sympathies. Bob and I spent a lot of hours together on basketball road trips. I enjoyed his company. One of my fondest memories is attending a hockey game in NYC. The IU team was given the opportunty of attending a hockey game in Madison Square garden. Only Bob and I accepted the offer. When we arrive, we noticed how courteous eveyone was. We soon discovered, our seats were those of the owner of the New York Rangers. We smiled the entire game.
Bob was a really good guy.

Bob was a great man and I’m thankful and blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Connie, their children and grandchildern. Bob was so kind and giving. I still chearish the tie Bob and Connie brought me back all the way from Italy. Who does that for their financial advisor? St Francis said, “it is by dying that we awaken into eternal life” God bless you Bob.
