He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Baetrice Sifuentes; his brothers, Arturo and Santos Gonzalez and son, Efrain Gonzalez. Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carmen Gonzalez; sons, Juan Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez Jr., Ricardo Gonzalez, David Gonzalez; daughter, Cynthia Castillo; daughter-in-law, Marissa Gonzalez; brothers, Rodolfo and Hector Gonzalez, Manuel and Oscar Sifuentes; nineteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Roberto was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather that lived by God’s principles and was a living example of God’s love in everything he did. He was a minister of the Word and led many to Christ through his strong faith. Roberto was an excellent provider for his family and was an accomplished, skilled carpenter for many years. He was affectionately known as “Abuelito” to his family and cherished spending time with his family at get-togethers and holidays. Roberto will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Services for Roberto will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow beginning at noon with Juan Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
