Ronald Scott Woolcock Jr. “Pop Pop” December 20, 1933 – February 1, 2021
Ronald Scott Woolcock Jr, 87, passed away February 1st, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ronald Scott Woolcock Sr. and Ruth Weitzel Woolcock, sisters; Betty Dewitt and Margaret Porter. Ronald was known as a serious man with a very dry sense of humor. He spent many years working for Gulf Oil as a Chemical Engineer, and even moved with his family to Iran for 3 years. Ronald was also a great craftsman who enjoyed woodworking in his leisure time. He also had a great love for the outdoors, especially sailing on the water. Ronald enjoyed spending time in the mountains and traveling to Colorado. On Saturday afternoons in the fall, you would find Ronald cheering on his beloved Penn State Nittany Lions football team! He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Services for Ron will be Wednesday February 10, at 2:00 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home 201 South 3rd St. LaPorte.
