He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Clairabelle Blissit; and brother Donnie Blissit. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Scott Mello and wife, Terri, Jerry Mello and wife, Teresa; daughter Lisa Scott and husband, Frank; brother Sonny Blissit and wife, Gloria; grandchildren Shayla, Hunter, Ashley, Taylor, Emily, and a host of many other dear family and friends.Ronnie loved his family very much and especially cherished his grandchildren. He loved attending all their activities whether it be baseball, dance, band, or karate. He was a hard worker and provided for his family by working at Amaco refinery, where he was employed for over thirty years. Ronnie had a giving heart, he enjoyed volunteering at Theater Under the Stars, and he also supported and volunteered in many charitable causes. Ronnie was a big animal lover and truly adored his dog, “Keesch”. He was also a big Houston Astros fan. Ronnie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.Services for Ronnie will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, with pastor Keith Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
