Ronnie James Lee's Obituary
Ronnie James Lee, 66, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Lorina Lee; and brother, Eddie Landry. Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Tammy Johnson and her husband, Eric; brother, Garry Lee and wife, Pamela; sister, Brenda Moore; grandchildren, Samone, Charles, Tanya, and Elijah, Byron and John III; and a host of other family and friends.
Ronnie graduated from Yates High School and played in the school band. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Ronnie made a lifelong career out of the bar-b-cue business and was a professional butcher. This allowed him the flexibility to custom cut much of the meat he cooked throughout the years. He enjoyed spending time with his family at reunions and cooking for all of his family. When he wasn’t cooking, he loved going fishing with his brother. Ronnie was well known for telling great stories and making others laugh. He was affectionately known as “Grand Daddy Ronnie” to his grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:30 am at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas
