View Tribute Book Rose Whatley passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years old on November 11, 2024 in Alvin, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born December 5th, 1932 in Mansura, Louisiana and has lived a long beautiful and fulfilling life. Rose had a heart of gold and touched the lives of many people. When hearts are heavy and tears are near remember to “look at the clouds over yonder” to see those who are dear.She is proceeded in death by her parents Billy and Bessie Cooper, husband Charlie Whatley, son Glenn and wife Katherine Whatley, daughter Rosemary and husband Clipper Lee, along with her daughter Marilyn Whatley.She is survived by her three sons and their wives; Simon and Mary Whatley, Johnny and Rhonda Whatley, and Billy and Becky Whatley.She will be loved and missed dearly by her 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren 20 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.There will be a visitation for family and friends at Clayton Funeral home in Pearland, Texas at 9 am. This will be followed by a memorial service and burial at 12pm at Southpark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
