Rosie Odom, 82, passed away Wednesday March 24th , 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Temple Thompson; husband, John ‘Blackie” Odom; and brother, Michael Thompson. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Read Obituary
Mrs. Odom was the sweetest lady. I first met John, her husband, by the mailbox in the neighborhood. From that point on I was drawn to them both. I am so sad to hear of her passing. COVID kept us from visiting more but I sure did enjoy her talks and hugs. She will be missed.

Rosie was a delight! I knew her from my years of teaching at LPHS, and Rosie was never too busy to answer a question, offer a kind word. May God comfort you in your great loss.

Rosie Odom was one of the finest women that I have ever been friends with. She truly lived a servant’s life to serve our Lord. I have enjoyed her companionship and that of Blackies on several occasions. I will always remember her with much love and respect.
