RJ was one of the nicest, intelligent, and remarkable boss I ever had during my working career. Although he did not know it, he was my mentor. I loved him dearly because he was honest, fair, and handled himself with great integrity. He is well missed. I pray for his wife, Ivy, and all his children, that God will give them strength to continue his legacy.
You were a great man Uncle Roy. Uncle Roy, Uncle Stan, Granddad Roy and my Dad Willie J Ruff were my role models. I really miss y'all and love y'all. Thank you so much for being in my life Uncle Roy!

I can't find enough words to express how truly Blessed we were to have Roy as our big brother. He was always kind hearted and loving. He loved God and his family. He never forgot where he came from.
He always taught us to stick together and love each other. Also to be a leader not a follower.
He was always full of joy and laughter and had a big contagious smile that would light up any room.
He always had a positive attitude and was the glue that kept the family together.
May his love, inspirations, and advice remain in our hearts forever.
His memories will live on. We will forever love and miss him. May you rest in peace in Heaven with God. Gone but not forgotten.
