View Tribute Book Sam Rossi Jr, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Rossi Sr and Lillian (Marasckin) Rossi; brothers, Paul and Fred Rossi; sisters, Cecilia, Betty, Palmira, and Avelinia Rossi. Left to cherish Sam’s memory are his wife of 57 years, Dorsie (Truss) Rossi; daughter, Amanda Rossi; sister, Mary Jane Davis; grandchildren, Garrett, Morgan, and Cash; and a host of many other family and friends.Sam was known as a hardworking, dedicated, man of faith. He chose to dedicate his life to his family, and to spreading the love of Jesus to everyone he met. Sam also loved his country and was proud to have served in the United States Navy. In the Manvel, Texas area Sam was well known for the excellent RV park he started in 1974. Sam enjoyed planting trees, working hard, good food, dancing, and spending time with his family. Especially with his grandsons who were his pride and joy; he loved them more than life itself. Sam will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service will be held for Sam at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland on Monday, October 3rd, 2022. (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Tx 77581) Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am presided over by Pastor Steve Brumbelow. Interment will follow the service at Manvel Cemetery in Manvel, Texas.
