Sammy Charles 77 passed away Wednesday October 20. Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Brenda Justus Charles, son; Larry Charles, daughter; Tammy Charles, brothers; Harold Sistrunk and Phil Sistrunk, sister; Davelene Sistrunk, grandchildren; Chloe, Alexis, and Evan, great grandchildren; Presley, Eli, Benjamin, and Brooklyn, and a host of other family and friends.
Sammy was known as a family man who loved and cared for his family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were dear to his heart. He loved spending time with them, that was a happy place for him. Sammy was a Master Electrician and enjoyed his work. Sammy served his country in the US Navy from 1962 -1965. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Sammy loved spending time at his place in the country in the Conroe area. He also loved to hunt and bass fish. When he got the chance, he loved going to his favorite casinos. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
