In memory of Sam"Samuel D. Sims" brought so many gifts to our life. His faith, love and humor stay in our hearts. We will never forget him!
Dear Judy,
Our hearts are deeply saddened by Sam’s passing. He has been such a precious teacher, mentor, and friend to us for more than twenty years. Through his Bible teachings, patience, and kindness, he helped us grow not only in faith but also in our understanding of American culture and life.
We will always remember his generosity — giving us furniture, taking us to explore new restaurants, welcoming our extended family members from other countries into his home, and introducing us to our favorite grocery store, Central Market. He encouraged me and supported me throughout my education here in America. His joyful spirit and love for others truly reflected Christ’s love in every way.
And, of course, we will never forget his wonderful sense of humor — the way he could make everyone laugh at just the right moment, turning an ordinary gathering into a time of warmth and joy. His laughter was contagious and his cheerful presence will be dearly missed.
May the Lord comfort you with His peace and surround you with His presence. We are keeping you in our prayers and thanking God for Sam’s faithful life and for the blessing he has been to our family.
Sam, thank you for your wisdom and laughter. You will always be remembered and missed.

A: We will always remember your warm smile that greeted us at church and in your home.. We were so happy to find someone who lived nearby :) The Bible Studies and meals around your table with friends were the best!
