Sandra Kay Brockett's Obituary
Sandra Kay Brockett, 59, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. She is preceded in death by her father, George Carter; mother, Patricia Murphy Carter; and sister, Marilyn Bailey. Sandra is survived by her step mother, Ola Carter; son, Timothy Brockett Jr.; daughters, Angela Boyer and husband, Vance; Rachael Hudson and husband, Tuffy; siblings, Steve Carter and wife, Charlie; Cindy Davis and husband, Jimmy; Billy Carter and wife, Denise; Carolyn Bailey; Coy Bailey and wife, Rosie and Craig Bailey and wife, Angela; grandchildren, Christian Peveto, Tyler Brockett, Ethan Brockett, Emily Boyer, Drake Boyer, Holden Hudson, Spencer Hudson; and a host of other family and friends.
Sandra was a kind, gentle and loving soul that selflessly gave of herself and always put other’s needs before her own. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved drinking sweet tea, going fishing, crafting and antiquing. Sandra was a strong fighter and never fussed even during her weakest days. She was affectionately known as “Memaw” to her kids, grandchildren and all their friends. Sandra’s greatest joy however came from spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Sandra will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
