My heart stopped when I received the news of Sandy’s passing. There are people that cross our path and continue with no remembrance and there are few that cross our path and leave an impression. Sandy was one of those few that crossed my path and I was honored to get to know her. May her family find comfort by celebrating her life. She was a gift. RIP my dear friend. Irene

My deepest sympathy to the Westergren Family. I know Sandy was a special and very loving person. I am truly sorry to hear she has passed. It may not seem like much, but Krystle especially I want you to know I always talk about Sandy being a second Mom and a guiding light in my life. As she was for many. She was that adult I used to go to, to talk about life problems and issues I couldn't talk about with my own Mother. If it wasn't for her and her level headedness, understanding and humor I don't think I would have kept my sanity. She was creative and always aspiring to do new things to fulfill her life and herself. And yes she always spoke her mind. Just like her daughter :) . I hope that in time the pain of her passing will be overshadowed with the joy and memories she left behind.
