My aunt raised my sisters and I. One core memory that I have (which has helped shaped the mother I am today)…. She ALWAYS showed up. Basketball, softball, track, band, dance she was there. Sometimes she would be late coming straight there from the hospital. But ALWAYS there. I can even remember her at the softball fields wrapped in her coat and blanket reading a book in the stands….BUT ALWAYS THERE.
My deepest condolences to the family of Ms Sheridan Lewis. She was always the most pleasant person to see her at swim class weekly, very dedicated. Prayers for the family and close friends for peace, comfort and strength.
I was fortunate to work with Sheridan at Doctors Outpatient some years back. She was an amazing leader and a wonderful friend. She was a blessing in my life. I know she is at peace now resting in the arms of our Savior.

THIS IS TEREASA (SKARDA) GOAD. MY PARENTS ARE DENNIS AND PAT SKARDA. WE ATTENDED ST. MARY'S IN LA PORTE WITH MR. AND MRS. LEWIS AND THEIR FAMILY AS WE WERE GROWING UP.
I REMEMBER THE LEWIS FAMILY COMING OVER TO THE HOUSE IN THOSE DAYS. I REMEMBER MR. LEWIS' WONDERFUL LAUGH AS HE WAS LEASONING TO ONE OF DAD'S JOKES. I REMEMBER MRS. LEWIS BEING A QUIET, LOVING, BUT STRONG WOMAN. LOVED LOVED THESE TWO PEOPLE WHO WERE IN MY LIFE!!
I BELIEVE MRS. LEWIS WAS GREETED IN HEAVEN BY MR. LEWIS AND MY DAD. THEY ARE HAVING GREAT TIMES AGAIN TOGETHER.
