Shirley and JoAnn were raised next door to my sisters and I .
My dad and theirs were very good friends . I have some wonderful childhood memories as Shirley was the oldest and certainly the kindest and most gentle. She set a great example for the rest of us. Her life will forever be a huge part of my memories. Peace to her and her family.
Shirley's life defines kindness, caring and gentleness. We miss her. We miss her quiet, subtle humor that made me laugh out loud. We miss holiday celebrations and her delicious frozen lemon dessert. We miss her sweetness to animals, even the squirrels nesting outside the window. Our prayer is that these memories will sustain Robbie, Chuck, Debbie and family through the difficult days ahead.
