How fortunate I was to meet Shirley in the ’80s.
Enthusiastic, welcoming, sharing, fun-loving, energetic – what more could anyone want in a friend. We enjoyed many good times with our League International pals.
But I am most grateful to Shirley, as she knows, for having introduced me to my late husband, Gerry Damerau.
