View Tribute Book Stephen Michael Hurbs, 70, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Pearl Hurbs; brother Tony Hurbs; and sisters Sherian Hurbs, and Yvonne Paige. Left to cherish Stephen’s memory are his sons Taryll Hurbs, Marzel Hurbs and wife, Melissa; daughters Nadia Covington and husband, Damien, Karen Lee; brother Wayne Hurbs; sisters Genevieve Johnson, Hillary Hurbs; grandchildren Michael, Donald, Khazeem, Khazan, Elijah, Alexander, Isaiah, Nicholas, Layla, and a host of other family and friends.Stephen had a personality that was larger than life, which he lived on his own terms. He was extremely social and a ball of energy. Although he could be a stern man, he loved his family dearly and was a wonderful provider for them. Stephen had a wonderful career of 30+ years with Anheuser Busch where he established lifelong friends & memories.Stephen loved the outdoors; in his spare time, he loved traveling, seeing the world and swimming in the open ocean. He also enjoyed cycling, camping and soccer. Stephen especially loved taking cross country road trips with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.A visitation service for Stephen’s family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. A visitation has also been scheduled on October 22, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 am, at Shuler’s Memorial Chapel, 5301 Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33407.
