Stephen Jacob Miles

Stephen Jacob Miles, 58 of LaPorte passed away Thursday November13,2014. Born in Dallas on November 21, 1955. Stephen was a very accomplished Journalist, co-owner of the magazine “This Week In Texas” and was very active the rejuvenation of LaPorte’s Main Street District and the Art Walk on Main Street. Stephen was preceded in death by his Parents Roy Crum and Barbara Brazell, Great Nephew Ethan and his Life Partner Alan Gellman. Survivors are his Sister Wendy Kirk and her Husband Robert, Niece Katherine Cox and her Husband Ronald, Great Niece Audrey and Great Nephew Nathaniel.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday 3:00 P M at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Dr Mark Redd officiating. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to LaPorte Animal Shelter.
