Tami Lynn Donaldson's Obituary
Tami Lynn Donaldson, 55, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Winnie Thornton; and son, Paul Timothy Donaldson. Tami is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Tim Donaldson; daughter, Amanda Michelle McCartney and husband, Nicholas; brothers, Paul Thornton and wife, Jan, Mark Thornton and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Cameron, Wyatt, Harper and Spencer McCartney; and a host of other family and friends.
Tami was a loving, thoughtful and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had an incredibly generous spirit and was always available to lend a hand or be a shoulder to cry on. Tami was strong in her faith and loved the Lord. She was an avid reader, had an amazing sense of humor and always looked for ways to keep the grandchildren laughing. Tami truly was the glue that kept the family together and her intense loyalty to could be seen in all that she did. She loved sports and followed all the Houston sports teams. As a young girl, Tami excelled in sports and was even known to outshine the boys on occasion. She was affectionately known as “NayNay” to her grandchildren and she adored spending time with them. Tami will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A visitation and funeral service for Tami will be held Thursday, February 25, 2015 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am with Rick Fyffe officiating.
