Mary Lee “Tena” McWhorter, 67, of Dickinson passed way July 6, 2008 in Webster, TX. She was born September 20, 1940 in Webster, TX to Dale Hamilton and Grace Jenkins Hamilton. She is survived by husband David E. McWhorter, Sr., children Carolyn Cormier and husband Tim, Jamie Nugent, step children Cynthia Lewis, David McWhorter, Jr., Daphne Williams, sister Sue Hardy, brother Dale Hamilton, and grandchildren Matthew Cormier, James Lee Nugent, David Allen Nugent.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 5-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday July 10, 2008 at 10 AM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM the Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Brazoria County.
