I first met Terry when my husband Bob and I drove our 1972 Plymouth Gran Coupe into Lafayette Ford on Grove St. in Fayetteville, NC early Spring 1975 to trade it for a 1974 MGB they had on the lot. Terry was our salesman. As fate would have it we got to enjoy having Terry as a neighbor when he, Wanda and family moved next door to us in Timberlake, Hope Mills in the ’80’s. Terry and family were great neighbors. Bryan and Natalie played together. We extend our deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow.

Although I hadn’t seen Terry in many years, I have great memories of the early days when Wanda and Terry were dating, married and begin to grow their family. The love that Terry showed for his wife, children and other family members was incredible. My thoughts and prayers are with Bryan, Danny, Lynn and Audrey today and always. You were all so lucky to share in such a special “Love”. RIP Terry.

I worked with Terry at Powell for many years. He was a great individual and it was my pleasure to have known him. God Bless his family and my prayers are with you during this time of grief. He will be sorely missed by all of us here at Powell. I am so sorry for your loss.

I came up to the engineering team here in Fayetteville during the Westinghouse era in 1992 and was assigned to work in the OEM group with Jerry Overman and one Mr. Terry White. They were a great team. Terry and I became good friends and we continued to work together when he signed on with Powell. We all will miss him very much.

Terry was a remarkable man that I will always be the better for having known him. He did set the bar high!!! I will miss him so very much. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire White family. I worked with Terry for many years at Powell. He was an amazing and wonderful family man who continually talked about his children and his beautiful wife, Wanda. I was blessed to know each of them and am saddened to hear this news. Terry was one of the kindest men I knew, a true loss for all of us, but he is now where he needs to be…with Wanda.

Terry and I started at Powell on the same day back in 1995 and became good friends over the years. I have many warm memories of Terry and Wanda and will dearly miss them. My prayers go out to Terry’s family and my sincerest condolences for your loss.
