Terry Gene Woods' Obituary
Terry Gene Woods, 59, passed away on January 27th, 2021. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Connie Woods; Brother, Donald Woods; and granddaughter Miranda Woods. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Salena Woods; Son, Terry Woods Jr.; Daughter, Sarah Billman and husband Robert; Dad, Ronald Woods, Sisters, Crystal Mclennan and husband James, Diana Garcia and husband Richard; and Grandchildren, Mitchell, Bellalynn, Peyton, and Host; along with a host of other family and friends.
Terry was a wonderful husband, father, son, mechanic, and problem solver. With his mechanical mind, he could fix just about anything. He developed those mechanical skills over a long, very successful, career as a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator. Terry was always a hard worker and provided very well for his family. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising cattle among other pursuits. Terry and Salena’s most challenging project was a barn-dominium which they built and lived in. Although the world knew him as Terry, his grandchildren affectionately knew him as “Papa”. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Services for Terry will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Saturday February 6th. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 am, with a funeral Service beginning at 10:00 am.
