Thomas Isaac Gamez's Obituary
Thomas Isaac Gamez, 22, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. He is survived by parents, Frank and Sonya Romero-Gamez Sr; grandparents, David and Elidia Gamez Sr., Juan I. Romero, Karen and James Hiller; brothers, Frank Gamez Jr., Erik Alexander Gamez; nieces, Emelenn and Eulaily; cousins that were more like siblings, Noah Estrada and Valerie Romero; and a host of other family and friends.
Thomas was persistent in everything he did. His stubbornness was evident from young age as he kept his pacifier until he was almost 3 years old. Thomas was extremely intelligent; always loving to read and an honor roll student throughout school. He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and football from 7 years old all the way through high school. Thomas prided himself on his independence and was always reassuring others not to worry about him. His loyalty and ability to remain calm and cool through any situation was an attribute many admired about him. Even though he was truly a momma’s boy, he was also a “ladies man”. The girls loved his eyes and lips. Thomas had started a successful career over the last two years as barber. He truly loved his family and especially excited about being an uncle. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Roy Love officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
